An informative, research-based class that describes childbirth options available in Colorado.  A uniquely-qualified local RN will discuss current birth research within a structured class format and help you make informed decisions for your birth and your baby.
 
Questions that will be addressed in class...
  • How do local cesarean rates compare to the national average?
  • Am I a candidate for a home birth, birth center birth or hospital birth?
  • What childbirth options are available in Colorado?
  • What are the differences between nurse-midwives, homebirth midwives, doulas and doctors?
  • What do I need to know about the choices offered to me during my pregnancy and birth?
  • What are my beliefs surrounding childbirth?
 
 
This is a FREE community class held in Salida Regional Library's community room...no registration needed and walk-ins are welcome.  Classes are offered several times a year - check our calendar for an upcoming class!
