Marlene Bergman is a Certified Professional Midwife and Registered Midwife. She views pregnancy and childbirth as a normal, natural life-event in which most situations will proceed beautifully without intervention. She believes in birth as a family-centered experience. The midwife's role is to guide and support the process while enhancing the family's power of unity.
Marlene believes the path to an empowered pregnancy and birth is through informed choice. She will provide information and resources to assist you in making informed decisions about all of your pregnancy and birth needs. This includes extensive information on nutrition, exercise, prenatal testing and newborn care.

Alycia Chambers is an intern midwife, ALACE trained doula, herbalist and breastfeeding advocate. She lives in Crestone, CO on an organic permaculture farm and loves to sing! She gave birth to her two children at home in their tipi, and trusts in the natural process of pregnancy and birth. As an intern midwife she works with homebirth families under the supervision of her preceptor, Barb Simonson, RM. She serves Crestone, the San Luis Valley, and the Salida area.
